Kelt Druid Posted by Picasa
His face reminds me of Santa Claus even though it doesn't look that friendly.
I had the right inspiration for this figure and practiced all the new techniques like NMM on the axe and blending on the kilt
I love this pose, and I believe it is one of my best Rackham figures to date !

a new Fianna Posted by Picasa
A great progress since my last Fiannas, I think...
The tatoo is my own design and quite cheeky as they say in the UK...
Also the NMM on the sword is getting better.
Almost forgot to mention the base : it is a plaster replica of a Freeboter base with plenty of bones lying around... comments please !!!

Another Danu Warrior Posted by Picasa
This one took a lot of time : I decided that the long cloak was ideal for a lesson in blending.
I like the way it came out.
The NMM on the axe is ok, the rust or blood trace is made with weathering powder (I love this stuff) and the keltic design is simply a black pen.

Gwenlaen touched up Posted by Picasa
An old effort that needed some repair work after Gamecon 1 (arm broken off) and I touched up her face a little.

Kelt Warrior touched up Posted by Picasa
I touched him up a bit, especially around the eyes : I'm quite proud !

Father repainted Posted by Picasa
Remember how I first painted the Father ? The colour scheme was too bright so I toned it down : comments anyone ?

Kyran the Hunter Posted by Picasa
not too happy with Kyran; the NMM is ok but nothing extraordinary and I used some weathering powder on the stone base

Kelt Archer Posted by Picasa

So what have I been up to these last 2 weeks : well I was busy painting and the result are the following 8 figures !!!!
This archer had a broken arrow and was always falling down, so I decided to give him a new rock base (cork) to stabilize him. Nothing remarkable about him except for the so-so blending effort on the kilt and the NMM on the arrow

My 1st NMM Posted by Picasa
Actually it is my 2nd attempt at NMM, but I believe it to be the 1st success, what do you think ?
