A large Treeman

I paint a lot of sylvan themed figures these days, and was delighted to stumble upon treeman from UK comapny Black Tree Design.
This large fellow is called Cedarbaroom Treeman; I enhanced it a little with some dead vine elemnets from my very own house (branches sticking out) and based it on a Wyrd base.
 

Ironhalo Contest 2009

Although Ironhalo manufactures mostly bases, they organize a miniature painting contest, and of course the bases have to be theirs !

A nice little duel between a Gael Swordmaiden and a Fir-Bolg Flesheater, both from Celtos Miniatures on a large Runic base from Kerr & King

 
This little scene represents the celebration of a victory over some trolls or ogers (see heads at the bottom of base) where a sexy slave hands a troll bone to her Queen.

And we have a winner !
I placed 2nd with the Queen and slave dio (25 USD gift certificate from Wyrd)
